I’ve seen alternatives to true cow’s milk

I’ve even bought something called almond silk.

You’d think with the price, it would give you all

But fast fads can be really a down fall.

 

Oh, oh, you think it’s healthy

Oh,oh , you think its wonder food

 

Ok, your non-GMO organic.

 

Fake don’t impress me much.

Yeah, you got the price but have you got the stuff

Oat, nut and soy, yeah, you might taste alright.

But, It won’t help me sleep on a cold winter night.

 

Fake don’t impress much.

 

You don’t calm hunger cravings when I wanna lose weight.

 Cause you don’t have much oil, that’s a fact.

And your nutritional value is so light-weight.

Cause heaven forbid I should eat any fat.

 

Oh, oh, you think it’s better

Ok, so you’re vegan

 

Fake don’t impress me much.

 

So you have the looks, but you cost so much

Don’t get me wrong, yeah, you’re a new drink

But you don’t satisfy me like the real thing.

Your one of those fads for those on special diets.

Food restrictions are a pain, I really can’t deny it

I’m so grateful I can eat lactose products.

I would rather eat cheese instead of raw nuts.

 

Oh oh, you think you’re fancy health food

Ok, your low calorie.

So you got the press, but have you got the punch.

Don’t get me wrong, you might taste alright

But you can’t help me sleep on the cold winter nights.
