Harmony Is Home

Harmony Is Home

(Tune of "Home" by Sheryl Crow)

I woke up this morning

And looked of out my window

I saw green leaves growing on the trees

Weighing heavy on the boughs.

All the trees are cloaked

in a cape of emerald green.

The summer sun is shining.

The place is so serene.

This is home.

Harmony is home.

This is home.

Walking on a forest path.

I hear rustling of the leaves.

The wind is blowing gently

Through the tops of trees.

The hawks call from above

Telling me to watch them fly.

They soar with majesty and say,

“Look at the leaves against the sky.”

This is home.

Harmony is home.

This is home.

This is my abode.

I like to see the life around me

And hear the birds afar.

As I watch the red sunset.

Reminding me we are

Here at home.

In my abode.

This is home.

The last beams from the sun

Shine through the moving clouds.

Gentle orange sunlight

Envelopes me in a shroud.

At night the stars rise and fall

Sailing across the sky.

Since coming here, I am at peace

And I remember why

This is home.

Harmony is home.

I am home.
