I know full well what I’m doing.

I’m here on my phone viewing

Youtube videos and songs from yesterday.

And I know in my mind,

I’m might be wasting my time.

 

At night, before I’m sleeping

Sometimes, I want something entertaining

At times I take the phone and start scrolling on.

Cause I know that it means

I’ll be entertained well by my screen.

 

Here I go again on the phone.

I get on it when I’m resting at home.

Sometimes, I use it when I feel alone.

And I know in my mind,

Sometimes it’s a waste of time.

 

When creeping idleness, I recognize.

I’ll go to the park and exercise.

I’m not going to sit here watching it any more.

Cause I know that it means

I won’t spend all day on my screen.

Many times, I use it when I feel alone.
