I‘ve been working in the garden

All the lovely day.

I’ve been fixing up the fencing

To keep the rabbits at bay.

I’ve been baking in the kitchen,

Making chocolate cake.

I’ve been rolling fresh tortillas.

Those I grilled, I did not bake.

Garden won’t you grow, up strong and tall?

Flowers won’t you grow?

Make a lovely show.

Flowers make color cascade and sprawl.

Can you hear the bright birds singing?

I hear them singing all around

The summer sun, my skin is kissing.
