Don’t be blind, look all around

Stay alert and keep your feet on the ground.

Listen up, to every sound

Be aware to everything that’s going down.

 

You learn things, when you see

Notice details and different ways to be

Notice people’s careless actions

You can stop them and prevent accidents.

 

And sometimes observing can open your eyes

To all of the blessing you have in your life

Comparison, that cruel thief, steals your happiness

Seeing all that you have, brings you a life of bliss

 

So be observant

Discernment, to stay more current

You learn when you see

Stay fervent, so you can heed

People play tricks on your mind

They rush you along, they take you for a ride

You can stop them in their tracks

If you observe and you know all the facts

 

I’m not saying you have to be up tight

Just give a care to see if all is going right

Take note of the mood going down in the room

Sometimes you can change it if it’s going out of tune

 

So be observant

Stay current

For things emergent

Learn from all the things you can derive

You can grow and thrive

Bad things can be recurrent

If you’re fast, be a deterrent

When things become emergent

Sometimes you can defer it

 

So be quick

To stop coming emergencies

 

That’s why we have courtesies

To calm other’s insecurities

And to prevent disturbances

Be smart and see uncertainties
