On my throne

In my domain that I happen to own.

I listen to music

Here in my home.

 

My child has left for the summer.

I am lonely and I miss my daughter.

Feels like a bummer.

I drink sweet tea from my cup

And, I cheer up.

 

I wanna go hiking, any runners?

Of course not, I’m alone this summer.

I tend to my pet rats.

They’re albino purebreds. They have class.

 

Everyday

When the cat’s away, the mice will play

Literally.

And tomorrow, I’ll hit replay.

For now, I’ll look at our family picture.

When I get bored

I go to the garden.

 

Park in the lot with my Prius.

Don’t got no canine

So I stop at the gate and say hi to a member

He opens the door with a smile.

As you were.

Making my way to my garden patch.

A neighbor wants to chat.

I make small talk.

He compliments my garden boots.

Looking cute.

No dispute.

I water plants.

Growing abundant.

I’m good at patch cultivation.

It’s all about irrigation.

Friends, that was a free revelation.
