How many people out there got caught unaware by the Spring Time Change?

How many times did you swear you’d never wake up late again?

How many sudden and sleepy shocks

to loud calls from your boss

wondering why you’re not at work on time?

“Time changes are a pain,” I hear you say.

Time changes are a cruel and bitter way to keep extra light in the day.

 

Could it be that what you need the most is a machine that seems like a ghost?

But, you don’t want to feel lost with the new technology.

One day you could be surfing on the internet for Iphones.

You see a picture of Alexa.

And you decide to select her.

You purchase her and wait to meet.

When you finally get the chance to greet.

You smile because now you won’t ever wake up late again.

Why don’t we turn the clock forward, honey?

We don’t go to work, we don’t get the money.

We’re gonna be on time today.

Don’t turn the clock all the way back.

Don’t make another time mishap.

You’re thinking of the wrong time of day.

Turn the clock to seven, sister.

The bus, I don’t want to miss her.

I’ve got to wake up for the day.

I need time to take a shower.

I’m gonna be ready for the day.

She’s the cashier for the stand.

She’s the captain for the ship.

She’s the master with the whip.


Get up all you people in the world!

She’s the driver of the car.

She’s the merchant in the bazaar.

She’s the one who drives the bus.

She’s the engineer for the truss.

She’s the guide on the tour.

She’s the heather on the moor.

She’s the reaper of the crop.

She’s the owner of the shop.
