The Strongest Truth

The Strongest Truth

(Tune of “My Strongest Suit” from Broadway play Aida)

In life we have to face many challenges

And naysayers with dubious advice.

Brief, fair-weather friends,

fiscal imbalances

and other forms of hardship and strife.

Compassion. Love. Those make strong winners.

Hurting friends

It doesn’t matter how you dress.

So look past the outer me, notice the inner.

I am one to care with carefulness.

Oh, now I believe in working

Like my time on Earth is earning

A place in heaven where I have most effect.

With my loving guaranteeing

Every fiber of my being

Is working towards a remarkable project.

From birth to strong youth rocking

To your deathbed God is watching

So never compromise standards and sooth.

I’d rather be dis-regraded

Than be a brute, cruel-hearted.

For my love has always been

My strongest truth.

Always care

Be aware

Anytime

Anywhere

Staying in or out about world

From inside and working outward

Present yourself

with empathy and grace.

The bravest are the caring.

The strongest are the sharing.

Forgive your neighbor.

For we all make mistakes.

The hard path’s one less taken.

Self-worth is from perception.

The weakest are the naysayers, it’s true.

But, don’t feel power over the feeble

Listen to needs of people.

Love has always been

My strongest truth.

So, see future with optimism.

Daily, enact charisms.

Show strong-hearted collaboration, to boot.

The gift of peace keeps on giving.

All good effort will bring something.

Compassion, understanding

Love has always been

my strongest truth.

So Much Better

So Much Better (Tune of “ So Much Better ” from Broadway play Legally Blonde ) All of this time I stressed and I felt depressed. I sat inside listless. Someone pinch me to make sure.   I feel good when I run and hike. I am doing a routine that is right I’m feeling so much better than before.   Sadness, you have been a pest. Even my best was not keeping you back. Now it looks like I’ve found a cure. And now I so cherish this life hack. I’m on the attack.   I remember when I felt I would break. So, I worked out ‘til I sweat. Now I have a very sexy silhouette No regrets. I feel more mentally sharp. Life’s better with a stronger heart. I have energy. I’m...

Can You Hear the Birds Today

Can You Hear the Birds Today ( Tune of " Can You Feel the Love Tonight " by  Elton John ) In my restless moments, Of worry and care I seek out my lovely planet. I try to be aware.   I sit outside to rest. I breath refreshing air. It’s enough to help me be at ease. It feels just like a prayer.   Can you hear the birds today? Hear the eagle’s cry. The raptor’s call is calling out to me “See leaves against the sky.”   Will you walk beneath the boughs? In the cool moist air. When you feel gentle breeze blowing by On your skin so bare.   The four seasons come and go Moving at a creep. I know that the winter’s snow Puts the world to sleep.   The spring will come in season. To the wild outdoors. The summer sun brings much abundant growth. The fall produce is stored.   Can you sense the earth’s cycles? Time’s endless spiral. This blue-green world of oceans full of life. In a great circle.   Smell the pine trees on the hill. See the sun shine in. The ...

I Get Up Again

I Get Up Again (Tune of " Tubthumping " by Chumbawamba) We’ll be singing, when achieving, hollering when…   Life knocks me down, I get up again. It’s never gonna keep me down. Life trips me up, but I right myself, it’s never gonna stamp me down. Life beats me up, but I come back again. It never will inhibit me. Life thumps me hard, but I scamper back. It’s never gonna stifle me.   Life can be really hard, life is a business. You’ve got some pricey bills, you’ve got to advertise. Your pay check reminds you of the good times. Your loved ones remind you of the best times. (Have some goals so, you can leave legacies)   Life pounds me down, but I return again It’s never gonna repress me. Life hite me hard, but I recoup again It’s never gonna conquer me. Life bangs me down, but I retake again It’s never gonna quash me down. Life bumps me down, but I restore again It’s never gonna subdue me.   Remember to buy cheap, remember to sell dear. To make good money, find...
