I’ve been waiting for a world that’s new

So long,

I’ve been trying so hard.

I’ve been waiting too long.

Sometimes I don’t know If it matters much.

I only know I must reach out and touch.

Lets’ all love the earth

We must clean the world

It feels so like

The right thing to do

I hope you’ll do the right thing too

I know I’m not wrong

The time left we don’t have very long

We can’t live like we’ve lived before

This time we’ve gotta try more.

That can nurture all natural life.

That can keep us all alive.

Now that we’re matured

It must be understood.

Its more than a purchase

Or a like we make

Only in work

Make no mistake.

We must love the earth

Let’s clean the earth

We must save our world from its current plight

There’s nowhere on earth that we can be

Where we can’t see plastic debris.
