(Tune
of "Row Your Boat")
Walking
down the trail,
Seeing
forest’s majesties.
Leaves
cascade down the vines
growing
up the towering trees.
Raptors
call on high,
Ravens
call below.
Breezes
bow the tops of trees.
Sun
patches shine and glow.
The
path winds lazily.
I
feel moist, muted air.
Berries
grow along the way.
Mother
Nature shares.
On
soft, mossy banks,
I
rest my tired feet.
Pine
scents waft through the air.
I
taste the berries sweet.
I
share my bread with the mice
and
drink water from the spring.
I
feel the breeze on my face
and
hear the tinkling stream.
Moving
on to the lake,
I
feel my worries cease.
Sitting
by still waters,
I
enjoy my time at peace.
