Life is a routine, days pass by repeatedly.

Time seems to stand still,

Yet be in a rushed hurry.

Constant is change.

Ever present is time.

We progress forward.

 

Marking time sometimes

Means patiently working on.

Routine patterns repeat daily.

They keep you going on.

Then, time feels fast

Where did it go?

It’s always there you know.

 

The seconds keep passing as life goes on.

Time after time.

The minutes pass by and repeat sixty

Hour after hour.

The hours are spiraling on the clock’s face

Day after day.

The four seasons are spiraling around me

year after year.

 

The circling systems of life are here each day.

Earth orbits around the sun.

Going eternally.

Time spirals forward,

And sometimes we look behind.

 

The seconds keep passing as life goes on.
